As a Grounds Worker/Laborer, you will play a vital role in our operations by assisting with various tasks related to tree care and maintenance. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments year-round. Candidates must be comfortable with consistent lifting, bending, and working in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment such as wood chippers, mini skid steers, articulating loaders, log splitters, saw mills, chainsaws, trucks, and hauling equipment.
- Perform tasks related to tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removal.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Experience operating equipment and machinery is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay: $20 per hour with no experience.
- Experienced applicants: Pay negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Operate a variety of equipment and machinery, including wood chippers, mini skid steers, articulating loaders, log splitters, saw mills, chainsaws, trucks, and hauling equipment.
- Assess tree health and recommend appropriate treatment or care strategies.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment to uphold safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
