As a Grounds Worker/Laborer, you will play a vital role in our operations by assisting with various tasks related to tree care and maintenance. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments year-round. Candidates must be comfortable with consistent lifting, bending, and working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment such as wood chippers, mini skid steers, articulating loaders, log splitters, saw mills, chainsaws, trucks, and hauling equipment.
  • Perform tasks related to tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removal.
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Experience operating equipment and machinery is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting pay: $20 per hour with no experience.
  • Experienced applicants: Pay negotiable based on experience.

As an Experienced Tree Trimmer/Arborist, you will play a crucial role in our operations by performing various tasks related to tree maintenance and care. This position requires a high level of skill, expertise, and dedication to safety. Candidates must be able to work effectively in outdoor environments year-round and handle the physical demands of the job, including consistent lifting, bending, and working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal according to industry standards and safety guidelines.
  • Operate a variety of equipment and machinery, including wood chippers, mini skid steers, articulating loaders, log splitters, saw mills, chainsaws, trucks, and hauling equipment.
  • Assess tree health and recommend appropriate treatment or care strategies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment to uphold safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in tree trimming and arboriculture.
  • Strong knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
